GCR partner appointed to the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County

September 19, 2011 - GCR, LLP is pleased to announce that one of its San Diego based partners, Aerobel Banuelos, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County. Big Brothers Big Sisters is a national organization that focuses on creating a positive impact on children’s lives by pairing them with pre-approved role models.

For over 100 years, the organization has been helping children operating on the premise that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. Most children served by Big Brothers Big Sisters are in single-parent and low-income families, or households where a parent is incarcerated. Ms. Banuelos is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School. Her law-practice focuses on public finance, but she has significant experience in most aspects of transactional work relating to public agency and special district representation.
